Accomplishments:
When I started as the Elected Constable, the department had one vehicle
and no deputies. I have worked hard at building an agency that serves
Precinct One and the entire County of Waller in any way possible.
By adding a second patrol vehicle and now having 9 deputies, I have a
great team that works diligently to serve our residents and visitors.
All of the Constables work with a very tight budget. I have sought
out grants and donations when possible to provide for a higher level
of service. Deputies on patrol carry an automatic external defibrillator
and are trained to use it, and will respond and apply it when needed.
We want to be able to help the community in any way possible.
We patrol closely in our neighborhoods and subdivisions,
and we take special interest in protecting the school zones.
When help is needed anywhere in the County, we will respond.
The Precint One Constable's Office was on site around the clock
throughout the duration of the wildfires in the Fieldstore area.
We respond with all agencies and work closely with the Sheriffs Department
and all other police agencies in Waller County.
The departments specially trained deputies established a specialized
police bike patrol team, and we utilize it at community functions such as the
Watermelon festival, Waller County Fair and Parade, holiday events and parades
and other events when needed.
I take pride in having a very close and professional working
relationship with all related and important agencies of the County.
I make sure we work very close with the Precinct 1 Justice of the Peace,
and that we are diligent at handling all civil process, court duties and related business.
I have great pride and am very proud to have been able to serve
for the past 8 years as the Constable of Precinct One - Waller County.
I have worked at serving this community most of my life in various roles,
and I would very much like to be able to continue serving as your
Elected Constable of Precint One.
